Hyphen Space is one of my favorite matcha spots in Dallas! Amazing customer service and top-notch matcha every time. I’m obsessed with the strawberry shortcake matcha — it always hits the spot! The owners are super kind and always have a great attitude, even when it gets busy. Highly recommend to all my matcha-loving friends!

Oh this place is FIREEEEE! I’ve had so many people recommend this place to me for their matcha. I literally live less than a mile so I had no excuse but to check it out. I ended up ordering 2 drinks. A latte with oat milk and the pandamonium and they were both amazing. Ceremonial grade match, true taste, not too sweet at all. The latte was good as well. I payed $8 for an hour in their coworking space and brought my books. It was insanely busy (as it should be) so get there early. Will be back. Happy to have this nearby.

Visited Hyphen Space today and it truly lived up to the hype. I’d heard great things about their matcha, so I had to give it a try, and it did not disappoint. The Jasmine Blossom matcha was fantastic: rich, smooth, and the jasmine flavor came through beautifully. I noticed some people complain about the price, but the drink comes in a generously sized cup and the quality of the ingredients really shows. You truly do get what you pay for. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming, which made the whole experience even better. I’ll definitely be back whenever I’m in the area!

This space is super clean, cozy, and an incredible place to get work done! Plus, the staff are very friendly and attentive. I highly recommend splurging on the day pass if you want to block off a few hours for productivity. So far my favorites are the Pandamonium and Jasmine Blossom matchas :^)

Hyphen Space is not a hole in the wall coffee shop but it is a modern one. Tucked away in the depths of the streets nestled around the Texas state fair is the best matcha shop I’ve found! I mean they make their own matcha per order. They make their own strawberry compote!! I had the most popular drink they had, the strawberry shortcake! I was worried it would be too sweet and take away from the overall matcha flavor and it did not! This was the best matcha I’ve ever had 11/10. I drove 45 minutes just to try this drink and I would drive it a 100 times again to get this drink. Service was amazing, they let me smell the aroma of the matcha as they ground it up noting hints of flora. What an awesome touch! Sort of a hidden gem right now. Not too crowded. Drinks are a little pricey and I was not a fan of the paper straws! Would 100% recommend.

Was looking to try out different and well reviewed matcha spots around Dallas and came across this spot! I was very impressed with the flavors of my drink (matcha madness) and was even more impressed that they offered lactose-free milk. Score! I had no stomach problems after and felt like a got a nice balance of natural sweetness and authentic matcha flavors. My family and I were very pleased with the menu. Their pass/pricing system is probably the most interesting part of their cafe as they are branded as a “co-working space” rather than a cafe. Essentially, you pay a base rate of $8 to spend an hour at their cafe or take out, or pay $25 to get your drink and other features such as a food and all day access. The staff was very friendly and explained this whole process to us very clearly and well and obviously knew their menu which was great as I love interacting and asking questions at different cafes. I personally don’t believe that ALL of the drinks are worth this base rate and hope they transition to a different system where you can pay specific drink prices if you are doing take out… but respect what they already have in place! My only reason for rating this establishment as a 4/5 stars is because it is not very wheelchair accessible. The space in there is SMALL, seating leaves little room for wheelchair, it is busy, and the entrance has a step up doorway almost like a hole in the wall. No ramps. There is only one small bathroom and the second floor with tatami mats is only accessible by stairs. Of course, all of this adds to the atmosphere and cozy experience of this space, but is something to keep mind of! Better to just have someone order something for you and you enjoy it in your own car.

I loved Hyphen Space. I’ve been wanting to try it for so long and finally had the opportunity to drive down to Dallas. I had their Jasmine matcha, and I have to say, they have perfected the ratio between their syrup and amount of matcha. You can taste both flavors without one being overbearing and still appreciate each separately. It was lovely to drink and seemed like a lot work was put into it as well as their decoration inside. Beautifully done and would definitely come back.

This place is amazing! One of the best matcha I’ve tried in Dallas. The space is so cozy and are all the staff are so friendly. I highly recommend everyone to give Hyphen Space a try. I got to try their matcha einspanner and the honey orchid oolong, both were the perfect level of sweet. Their pineapple bun is also really good.
